Ok, so- I'm sitting here on the couch thinking how I can loose weight. I figured I document it, I can't lie about it. When I got married in 2010 I weighed 100 lbs
and I thought I was over weight then. In 2011 when we went on our honeymoon to Cancun I weighed about 110 lbs.
During the pregnancy I gained about 40 lbs! Ouch! Which means I topped off around 150 lbs. Remember, Audrey weighed 5 pounds 15 ounches!! I had so much fluid pumped into me that after delivery I looked even bigger!
I actually have photos of myself where I'm even bigger. :-( but I am now down about 35 pounds! Well, here it is to loosing the rest!

Audrine Elise
Audrine Elise was born on 12/31/111- New Years Eve baby!! Audrey was born at 7:01 pm at 5 pounds 15 ounces and 18.5 inches long! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! Tomorrow we have her 2 month appointment and I am so nervous about her getting so many shots! Erik has to work tomorrow so it will be just me! She knows what is coming too because she is not happy about being two months old!
Anyways, you get the point.

2. Britax Stoller and Car seat- we looked forever to find the perfect combo that was gender neutral, easy to use and a good fit for mommy and daddy. We originally bought another stroller but I was too short for the handles! Who would've thought! I love the Britax B-Ready because I can adjust it to my height and he can adjust it to his!
3. Fisher-Price Discover N Grow Kick & Piano Gym- Audrey loves this! She loves to stare at herself in the mirror and kick at the piano. She hates having a wet diaper and hiccups but when she is playing she can at least stand them for a little while!

5 Things we love so far:
1. Baby Legs- they are so cute! I love to put them on her! They make diaper changes so much easier.2. Hello!
Here I am trying to get into this blogging thing. I want to use this blog to capture us starting our family so we can later reflect and laugh :) I am attempting to type with one hand since I have a 2 month old baby girl and trying to boob feed-still trying to figure out the parenting thing!
Words of advice, do not have a newborn and try to sell your house at the same time!! We had a showing within 2 days of coming home from the hospital and a showing about every week! Anyways, house still is on the market and we're thinking of just renting out our house. Hopefully, we will be in our new house by late spring/early summer. We were not planing on selling but last June our renter, (who lived with us for about 2 years) shot himself in our 2 bedroom house.... long story short- our home is no longer our home. We are selling it for what we owe due to the market....we will be taking a huge loss with all the fees attached. So, we really just want to rent it out!!
Alright, here is our first project for her nursery!
We bought this dresser off of craiglist list for $40:
It had some gold plastic framing and some fancy looking handle....
So, I took a screwdriver and pried off the frames and unscrewed the handles!
The dresser was pretty old and several, most of the old nails snapped off when taking off the gold plastic trim. Not cool.
I had to take some pliers and try to take them off. Those little buggers were stubborn. I eventually gave up and had my husband help.
I was 9 months pregnant at the time so I had to wear a mask when stripping off all the paint. Felt pretty hardcore.
The top of the dresser was covered with a thin piece of lament that was too hard to take off. We decided to just take off the top and put a new piece on. Off to Menards we went to get some wood. Here it is all trimmed up and ready for some stain!
I think he did pretty good job!
First coat of stain on!
Almost done! Got several more coats of stain on the top and bottom painted heritage white, just need to find some handles. Handles were the hardest part, we could not find the right handles with the proper distance between the holes.
